Did you know that Green Jobs can pay 10% to 30% more than the average job?
Did you know a women without a college degree is 49% more likely to have a higher wage if she has a green job?
Do you know about all of the opportunities available to you in the Green Economy?
The U.S. Department of Labor and the Sustainable Business Network of Greater Philadelphia are hosting a Green Careers Workshop for Women in Philadelphia.
You will hear presentations from companies in various sectors of the Green Economy and the personal stories of women already holding green jobs. Employees from Gamesa, SEPTA, Energy Coordinating Agency, and the Philadelphia Water Department will talk about how finding and holding green jobs.
This workshop will help you make an informed decision about whether a career in the Green Economy is right for you.
